Our Mission Statement: Exceeding customer supply chain expectations by delivering professional and customized solutions in a timely and cost effective manner.

About Us

Operating as a third-party logistics provider in Southern Indiana, Ranger Enterprises, LLC (Ranger) seeks to identify and implement solutions fit to customers’ warehousing and logistics demands. We want you to count on us for all of your third-party logistics needs.

KocoleneRanger Enterprises, LLC was founded in 1995 and acquired by Kocolene Development Corporation (KDC) in 2007. At the time of acquisition, Ranger was a public warehousing company with a strong presence in Southern Indiana’s manufacturing community. With the backing of KDC’s 75+ years in business, Ranger transformed into a dominant, asset-based 3PL provider. The company worked to leverage knowledgeable people, best-practice processes and industry technology to provide customers with services previously unavailable in the local market.

In 2015, Ranger responded to customer demand, adding a freight brokering division and effectively entering the transportation industry. With Ranger’s background, freight brokering became a natural extension; synergies include utilizing cutting-edge IT infrastructure to manage high-volume transactions, while providing 24/7, five-star customer service. With strong partners including MercuryGate, Transportation Intermediaries Association, Connexus, and many more, the new division hit the road.

Today, Ranger works with customers in the following industries:

Company Philosophies

Ranger’s success has been built, in great part, on the hard work of our team. Through the years, our commitment to providing outstanding customer service has been unmatched in the industry. Below are our seven business philosophies. These core principles are expectations for every member of our team and are the foundation for how Ranger operates today.

The Golden Rule
Treat others like you would like to be treated. We extend this philosophy to everyone alike, whether it be customers, suppliers, carriers, or fellow team members.

Team Concept
We feel strongly toward the close-knit team concept of helping each other. We can truly accomplish more working together than we can on our own. There is no “I” in team! 51%

You often hear the term “50-50”, or “meeting someone halfway.” At Ranger Enterprises we strive to go that extra mile for our people. We strive for more than 50%.

At Ranger Enterprises, we strive to always act with and treat others with professionalism. Our parent company, Kocolene, has been in business since 1938, and they have created goodwill and an outstanding reputation by treating our customers like fine crystal in our hands. All of our team members are respectful of that history and the efforts of our predecessors.

Communication has been described as “…the chain of understanding that integrates an organization from top to bottom, bottom to top, and from side to side.” With that “chain of understanding” throughout an integrated organization, corporate excellence is well within grasp.

Commission vs. Omission
Use all resources available to you, analyze all the information, and then act. We expect and want decision makers.

An attitude is a way of feeling or acting toward a person, thing or situation. According to radio and television personality Art Linkletter, “Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.”
